The Individual Technology Migration Scheduling Portal was designed to simplify and automate the scheduling process for technology migrations during Acquisition & Divestiture (A&D) projects. It provides employees with a self-service platform to select migration dates, receive personalised notifications, and access preparation resources. The portal integrates with enterprise systems to ensure accurate scheduling, minimize downtime, and improve overall migration efficiency across global teams.

The Problem
Prior to the portal’s implementation, migration scheduling was manual and fragmented, leading to unclear timelines, missed deadlines, and increased reliance on help desk support. Employees lacked visibility into available migration slots and often faced delays due to coordination issues. This resulted in operational inefficiencies, higher support costs, and user frustration. The portal was introduced to address these challenges by offering a centralised, intuitive, and scalable scheduling solution.

The Welcome screens are dynamically tailored to confirm a user’s eligibility for scheduling their migration, creating a more personalized and context-aware experience. This step helps set expectations early and ensures users understand where they are in the overall workflow.
From this page, users gain access to key resources that help them prepare for and understand the migration process, supported by clear information architecture and scannable content. The Scheduling app also includes multilingual support, reinforcing accessibility, inclusivity, and a seamless experience for a global user base.


Schedule screens
The Scheduling flow provides users with a clear, self-service experience for completing their migration. Users first enter their personal email and mobile number, supported by intuitive form design, clear labels, and inline validation to reduce friction and ensure reliable communication if issues arise. They are then presented with a pre-defined set of available migration dates, using constraint-based design to simplify decision-making and prevent scheduling conflicts.
After selecting a date, users choose how they’d like to receive their company laptop—either in-office pickup or home delivery—through simple, scannable options that support quick task completion. By structuring these inputs in a streamlined, step-by-step workflow, the Scheduling screens ensure we collect all essential information while maintaining usability, clarity, and efficiency throughout the J&J migration process.
